[Editor’s Note: A recent case study by Kespry showed how one of their customers, Whitaker Contracting, is spending 22% less than before, while measuring their stockpiles 2X more frequently and spending 4X less time overall.]
The Kespry Automated Drone System is saving mining companies time and money by automatically measuring aggregate stockpiles. Kespry drones have no joysticks and are controlled using an iPad.
Companies can automatically get the perimeter and volume for all their aggregate stockpiles as frequently as needed. Recent stockpile features include being able to measure volumes of odd-shaped aggregate piles against walls and automatically calculating weight from aggregate material density.
Kespry Drone aerial images also provide 2-D and 3-D models that assist with mine operations and mine planning.
